UK Mainland Shipping
All orders received from UK mainland are shipped using Royal Mail First Class Post or Next Working Day carriers. There is no minimum order at GranadaBatteries.co.uk, and we offer free UK mainland delivery on all orders over £100 plus VAT (the UK Mainland free delivery does not include some Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, and Southern Ireland).
Orders received under £100 plus VAT are subject to a delivery charge based on the weight of the shopping basket. Delivery charges start as low as £1.00 plus VAT. These charges are shown as you add products to your basket.
Small, lightweight orders are dispatched by Royal Mail while larger, heavier orders are sent by carriers. We aim to dispatch all orders received before 3pm the same day. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (not including Bank Holidays). Any orders after 3pm will be dispatched the next working day; likewise orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (not including Bank Holidays).
If you require a timed delivery or a Saturday delivery please contact us directly for a price. This is simply the cost price from our carriers at the time.
Next Working Day deliveries must be received by 3pm (Monday-Friday). These deliveries start from £4.99 plus VAT and will be sent by either DPD or TNT. Please note that orders sent by Next Working Day will require a signature; you can specify special instructions for the driver if you are unavailable but it is your responsibility to ensure a signature can be obtained at the delivery address. Any instructions to leave the parcel without a signature will result in neither the carrier nor ourselves being responsible if the parcel goes missing. Our couriers typically attempt delivery between 8am and 6pm. Please be aware of this when placing your order.
Delivery to Offshore UK & Remote Areas
Please note orders placed before 3pm (Monday-Friday) will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm will be dispatched the next working day. If you need a need a Next Working Day delivery, we must receive your order by 3pm.
We do deliver to all offshore and remote areas of the UK, however we are unable to offer free delivery to the following areas:
Orders going to Scottish Highlands (includes postcodes AB37-38, AB44-45, AB53-56, IV7, IV9-12, IV14-28, IV30-32, IV36, IV52-54, KW1-14, PA21-38, PH18-26, PH30-41, PH49-50) will be sent by First Class Post if they are small enough. This starts from £1 plus VAT. For larger orders, Next Working Day deliveries (Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays) will be used and could take up to 2 days to reach this area. This starts from £13.75 plus VAT and will be sent by Interlink or UPS.
Orders going to Scottish Islands (postcodes HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-78, ZE1-3) will be sent with First Class Post starting from £1 plus VAT, if they are small orders. If you request a Next Working Day delivery (Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays) for these areas, it will take 2 days. This 2-day service starts from £15.50 plus VAT. This type of delivery will arrive via Interlink or UPS. Larger orders will automatically be sent by Next working Day carrier.
Other remote Scottish areas (postcodes AB30-36, AB46-52, FK17-99, G83, IV1-6, IV8, IV33-35, IV37-39, IV63, PA30-40) will be sent with First Class Post starting from £1 plus VAT if they are small, lightweight orders. If they are heavier or larger orders, Next Working Day delivery (Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays) will be used and could take up to 2 days to reach these areas. This service starts from £7.50 plus VAT. These deliveries will be sent using UPS.
Northern Ireland deliveries (all BT postcodes) will be sent by First Class Post, starting from £1 plus VAT, if they are smaller packets. If you require a Next Working Day delivery (Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays) it could take up to 2 days and starts from £13.50 plus VAT. These orders will arrive via Interlink or UPS. Large, heavy orders will be sent by Next Working Day carrier if they are not able to be posted.
Republic of Ireland deliveries are sent using First Class Post, if they small and lightweight. This starts from £3.00 plus VAT. Larger or heavier orders that will not post will be sent by Next Day carrier. If you require a Next Workingt Day delivery, this could take up to 2 days and will start from £15.00 plus VAT. These orders will arrive via Interlink.
Orders for Isles of Scilly (postcodes TR21-25) will be sent with First Class Post starting from £1 plus VAT if they are small, lightweight orders. If you require a Next Working Day delivery (Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays), it could take up to 2 days. This service starts from £15.50 plus VAT and will be sent by Interlink or UPS. Larger, heavier orders that will not post will be sent by Next Working Day carrier.
Isle of Man deliveries (all IM postcodes) will be sent by First Class Post if they are small enough. This starts from £1 plus VAT. If they are heavier or larger orders, Next Workingt Day delivery (Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays) will be used and could take up to 2 days to reach these areas. This starts from £12.50 plus VAT. These deliveries will be sent using Interlink or UPS.
Deliveries to Isle of Wight (postcodes PO30-41) will be sent by First Class Post if they are smaller packets. This starts from £1 plus VAT. Next Working Day deliveries (Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays) could take up to 2 days to reach this area and start from £7.50 plus VAT. These deliveries are sent by UPS. Larger or heavier orders will automatically be sent by Next Day carrier.
DELIVERY BY ROYAL MAIL
Please note deliveries by standard Royal Mail First and Second Class post are not guaranteed and we ask customers to allow a minimum of 5 workings for First Class and 7 working days for Second Class items to be delivered

If you receive items which you have ordered incorrectly and do not wish to keep, these will need to be returned to us within 14 days. They must be returned unopened in their original packaging, complete with instructions and all additional items or accessories in an unused and re-saleable condition. In this instance, please contact us before returning items so that we can issue a returns number which should be clearly written on the outside of the box or packaging to enable us to track your returns. Items should be returned using a secure method that requires a signature as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. Upon receipt of the returned items, we will refund the cost of the item through Worldpay. We are not able to refund any postage or delivery charge in an instance where goods were ordered incorrectly. Items returned to us without a returns number may result in a refund being delayed.
If you receive items in a damaged condition, please notify us within 24 hours of receipt and return these to us within 7 days. They must be returned with their original packaging, complete with instructions and all additional items or accessories. You will need to contact us for a returns number which should be clearly written on the outside of the box or packaging to enable us to track your parcel. Items should be returned using a secure method requiring a signature as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. Upon receipt of the damaged items, we will dispatch replacement items free of charge. Items returned to us without a returns number may result in a delay resolving the problem.
If items received by you have been dispatched incorrectly, please contact us so we can arrange for the correct goods to be sent and organise the return of the incorrect goods.
Should any items you purchase develop a fault within the warranty period applicable to each manufacturer, you will need to return it to us. Please contact us for a returns reference number which should be clearly written on the outside of the box or packaging to enable us to track your parcel. Items should be returned using a secure method requiring a signature as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit.
